I absolutely agree with you.

Now I just finished waching the movie version of the book. In my opinion, It wasn't that great. The beginning of the movie was the ending of the book also, alot of the parts of the book were rushed in the movie due to interest of time. If i were to choose between the movie and the book, I strongly recomment reading the book. It really is a great story.
